Monrovia Public Library - Community Room

Kick off the new year by joining Monrovia Fire &amp; Rescue, Arcadia Fire Department, and fellow citizens in learning how to take care of yourself, your family, your neighbors and your city in the event of a major disaster. Open to Monrovia and Arcadia residents and employees of Monrovia and Arcadia businesses. Ages 16 and up with parent or guardian.Learn the following:<ul><li>Emergency preparedness</li><li>Fire suppression/safety</li><li>Disaster medical operations</li><li>Light search and rescue</li><li>Disaster psychology</li><li>Team organization</li></ul>This is a three Saturday Course: March 7, 14, and 21 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. You must be able to attend all three sessions for the entire time.If tickets for your city sell out, please email Suzi Dobson at sdobson@monroviaca.gov to be put on a waiting list.
