2026 CERT Basic Training - Winter Class
Learn how to take care of yourself, your family, your neighbors and your city in the event of a major disaster.
Kick off the new year by joining Monrovia Fire & Rescue, Arcadia Fire Department, and fellow citizens in learning how to take care of yourself, your family, your neighbors and your city in the event of a major disaster. Open to Monrovia and Arcadia residents and employees of Monrovia and Arcadia businesses. Ages 16 and up with parent or guardian.
Learn the following:
- Emergency preparedness
- Fire suppression/safety
- Disaster medical operations
- Light search and rescue
- Disaster psychology
- Team organization
This is a three Saturday Course: March 7, 14, and 21 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. You must be able to attend all three sessions for the entire time.
If tickets for your city sell out, please email Suzi Dobson at sdobson@monroviaca.gov to be put on a waiting list.
