Stanford Taekwondo will be hosting our annual Spring Open tournament on Saturday, May 24th, 2025 at the Stanford's Ford Center and Burnham Pavilion (365 Galvez Street). We are delighted to offer both poomsae and sparring divisions at our tournament this year! What: 2025 Stanford Taekwondo Spring Open
When: Saturday, May 24th, 2025
Who: Taekwondo athletes ages 6 and up
Where: Ford Center and Burnham Pavilion (“Ford-Burnham”) (365 Galvez St, Stanford, CA 94305). Please enter through the Ford Center for Sports and Recreation.
How: Early registration ends at 11:59pm on Wednesday, May 21st. Late registration closes on Friday, May 23rd at 5pm.
*For those registering more than one athlete, please make submit the registration form separately for each athlete.
Cost:
Spectators: $5 early registration, $15 after end-of-day May 21st
*Spectator tickets are free for those who aged 5 and under
Coaches: $30 early registration, $40 after end-of-day May 21st
One event: $80 early registration, $90 after end-of-day May 21st
Every additional event: $20
Important Participation Information:
- If sparring, athletes must have full sparring gear, including mouthguard, and groin protector for males and females.
- Daedo electronic scoring will be available for black belt rings (e-socks will not be provided).
- To participate in any Stanford Taekwondo event, a waiver must be completed by the athlete or parent/guardian for all athletes under 18 years of age. Waivers can be found online at the following webpage: bit.ly/stanfordtkdwaiver2025
- Athletes under the age of 18 are required to be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
Stanford has free parking on weekends. Participants can park at the Track House Lot (297 Galvez St, Stanford, CA 94305) or at the parking lot at the intersection of Campus Drive and Bonair Siding Road (578 Campus Drive, Stanford, CA, 94305).
