CERT also teaches you how to prepare your home, family and others in order to reduce the impact of a disaster.

During the course of three Saturdays (May 17, 24 & 31) through in-class and hands-on learning taught by the Office of Emergency Management, Richmond Fire Department, Richmond Behavioral Health Authority and other professionals you will learn and practice about emergency response and preparedness. Here is what is covered:

Upon completion of the course you will become a part of a CERT team of volunteers that is ready and able to take action in preparing and protecting your community.
