About this event
Girl Scout troop 2832 is excited to host a 5k/10k relay run/walk event at Gallatin, Missouri. Registration closes on May 3, 2024 at 8:00AM.
Racers will enter as an individual or relay team to complete their chosen distance of 5k (3.1 miles) or 10k (6.2 miles). A 1 mile fun run is provided for kids 10 and under. Kids fun runners should register by April 11th for guaranteed participation medal.
Proceeds will go to our local Girl Scout troop whom have worked very hard this year in community projects, entreprenuership, learning new skills and learning how to make the world a better place! The girls are planning a summer trip to visit Branson. Your race entries will help them experience new things and help cover the cost of supplies for activities in 2025/2026.
Race will be held rain or shine!
PACKET PICKUP
Packet pickup will be on Saturday, May 3 at Gallatin, on race morning from 7:30AM until the start of the race. Our kids 1 mile, 5k & 10k will start at 8:30AM.

MEDALS
Medal will be given to the top finishers in each of the following age groups:
- Top male & female 5k runners
- Top male & female 10k runners
- Top 10yrs & under 5k runner
- Participant medals to all 1 mile runners (must be 10yrs and under)
TOP RUNNER AWARDS
The top 5k TEAM &10k TEAM will receive a gift basket or gift card, courtesy of local businesses and Troop 2832!

Yes! The only exception to postponing the start time would be lightning or a tornado!
Yes! Our route is strictly on blacktop, so bring the stroller and your littles!
No. Any child who rides in a stroller will be free of charge.
Create a team of 2 or more runners, register and show up to race! Each lap is 1 mile. The current runner on your team must cross the line before "tagging" another runner. During registration, select which distance your team will complete.
No. A race is deemed finished once your team runs the entire length of a 5k or 10k, whichever the team is registered for.
Runners choose which "leg" to run in their team. If a team has 2 runners, the first runner may complete a mile leg, "tag" the second runner and choose to be done or switch again for the final mile. The first runner may also run 2 miles before switching.
5k teams may have up to 3 runners. 10k teams may have up to 6 runners.
No, you do not. We understand that not every parent is as speedy as their enthusiastic runner. However, if your little one needs you then please do run along side-free of charge.
Yes! We will have guides and signs to lead you on the route.
Yes. We have a water station available at the finish line, available as you need it.
It is always best to check the weather the night before. During both our spring races the weather can vary therefore, it is best to be prepared with layers. Always wear your bib on the outermost layer.
No, we have a no refund policy. If the race is cancelled, a virtual option will be available and for all participants that registered.
We would love to have you on our team of volunteers! Register as a volunteer, no fee added!
Arrive between 7:30-8am to register and receive a race bib. Payment can be made via cash or venmo.
