You do not want to miss the 2024 Winter Expo! The Muskogee expo will be held on Jan. 18 at the Muskogee Civic Center. We will have various Epic departments on site to answer your questions, informative parent & caregiver breakout sessions, as well as engaging student sessions. We will have NEW and UPDATED information. There is something for both new and veteran Epic families! Families will leave with information and resources that will enable them to have success in the 2024 spring semester. We will also have photographers on site for school pictures and a Scholastic Book Fair! Epic Beginnings will also be collecting diapers & baby wipes that will be donated to Epic families with young children.

• English Language Arts: Writing & Reading Strategies & Resources
• AI (artificial intelligence) & Chat GPT: What is it and what do I need to know?
• SPED Topics: RTI, RSA, ETI, IEP, 504, Tutoring and more
• The above are just a few topics that will be covered. We will cover much more!

Student Sessions

• From Maysville to Mars (History of Air & Space Travel in Oklahoma)
• Hands-on grade-specific science activities
• Art, games, or other fun student session (varies by expo site)

This is a public event and photographs and/or video may be taken during the activity. If you prefer your student to not have a photograph or video taken, please let our Epic staff know during check-in.

CANCELLATIONS:

How do I cancel my family's reservation? To cancel the reservation and allow other students to attend in those spots you will go to the email sent from Eventbrite with the subject line: Your Tickets for the 2024 Winter Expo-Muskogee. Then scroll to the bottom of the email and click the words "View and Manage your online order." This will open up spots for other families and is very important as the location needs accurate numbers before we arrive.

What is the inclement Weather Plan? If we have inclement weather, we will send out communication by email through Eventbrite to let you know if the field trip has been canceled.

To get the most out of the expo, families should bring a laptop or iPad and have their students’ login information and parent PowerSchool login. Have your student's Epic ID ready for registration.

A Sensory room or sensory bags are available at all sites.

The Scholastic Book Fair can only accept card payments.
