The <a href="https://www.center4fe.org/" title="https://www.center4fe.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Center for Financial Empowerment</a>, the nonprofit founded by Rize Credit Union, invites you to join their 4th Annual VIRTUAL FUN RUN to raise funds and awareness around financial literacy education for at-risk youth.It’s a fundraiser blending things we value: Physical activity, fun, and financial empowerment!FLEXIBLE PARTICIPATION OPTIONS:<ul><li>Register for the CFE 2024 Virtual Fun Run and create your own run, walk or roll activity anytime during the weekend of September 27-29.</li><li>Not a runner? That’s okay! Just about any activity will do. You can run, walk, ride your bike, or break out the roller blades. Choose your own adventure! We can’t wait to see how creative you’ll be.</li></ul>STEP 1: Get registered! Each registrant will receive an event T-shirt and medal.STEP 2: Once you've registered, plan an activity of your choosing anytime during the dates of September 27-29, 2024. Or join one of our planned group activities!STEP 3: Ask your friends to support your Fun Run with a donation, or to register and join you. Activity is even more fun with a group!STEP 4: Raise $100 in donations to support the cause and receive a swag bag full of sponsor gifts and prizes!STEP 5: When you complete your activity, upload photos to our photo sharing site for all our Fun Run participants to share and enjoy. ABOUT THE CAUSE:It’s easy to make financial mistakes that stay with you for years. That’s why financial literacy education is so important for underserved teens. The Center for Financial Empowerment offers effective training programs that help youth learn to be smart with money.We’re celebrating that teens are back in school with a big goal to bring life-changing financial literacy education to 5,000 teens this school year.You can help by getting active in our 4th Annual Virtual Fun Run!Lace up your sneakers and join us!
