2024 Virginia Brownfields Conference

You are cordially invited to the premier brownfields event of the year in Virginia hosted by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and the City of Lynchburg Office of Economic Development & Tourism. Join us in Lynchburg on June 25-27 as we relive the story of how this community developed, including the revitalization of Jefferson Street and The Virginian Hotel. Learn more about brownfields and redevelopment options, including everything from concept planning to final development and reuse. The conference covers a variety of funding options, mixed-use and main street development, and success stories from Lynchburg and across Virginia. Tag along for unique mobile workshops to local sites and then end your day at our celebrated networking receptions. This year, the annual conference takes place at The Virginian Hotel, a historically preserved and luxurious venue.
