The philosophies of this course are based on a scientific understanding of anatomy and biomechanics combined with utilization of principles of motor control and neuroplasticity. This content is integrated into algorithmic clinical problem solving to develop efficient and effective exercises/activities that are unique and specific to meet the needs of each patient. The course will include both lecture and lab demonstrations, case presentations, as well as emphasis on case study development and presentation in order to provide the participant with a “hands on” experience that will carry over into clinical practice.
