About this event

The admission directors from the twelve Florida public universities will gather to provide information to high school counselors, district personnel and community-based organizations regarding admission criteria and general updates. Guests will have the opportunity to meet with staff from each institution and obtain university, district and FLDOE literature. Representatives from the FLDOE and Florida Bright Futures will also provide updates.

Counselors must register through Eventbrite in order to ensure admission to the event.

Parking: Parking is available in Garage "A" only. Registered counselors will receive an email with a printable parking pass approximately one week from the event date.

Note: This pass must be displayed on your vehicle's dashboard. If you choose to park in a lot or garage other than Garage A, or if you fail to properly display your pass, you may be ticketed and are liable for any fines assessed.

Directions: Arrive on campus using the main entrance at University Boulevard and Alafaya Trail. Proceed straight through the traffic signal into the garage. There will be staff posted inside & behind the garage and along the walking route to the Student Union to assist with questions & directions.

Accommodations: UCF is unable to provide golf cart or other motorized transportation from the parking garage to the Student Union. Guests requiring accessible parking due to a disability or injury should email uaevents@ucf.edu for further instructions.

Miscellaneous: A hot breakfast will be provided at the start of the event, however, we advise guests bring a refillable water bottle, snacks or other necessities to the event. The temperature in the Student Union can vary depending on atmospheric conditions. We advise dressing in layers to suit your comfort level. Thermostats and HVAC are controlled offsite and cannot be adjusted during the event.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is this okay? Participant names must be listed on our attendance sheet. Participants must register on Eventbrite in order to be on the list. Some school districts collect names of those planning to attend. This is not registration for the event. Registration through Eventbrite is based on room capacity and fire marshal limits. Attendees not on the registration list may find that they are unable to be admitted.
