2024 State University Admissions Tour – Florida Gulf Coast University

Directors of Admissions from the twelve state universities will present information to middle and high school counselors, district personnel, and community-based organizations regarding admission criteria and university updates. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit with staff from each institution and obtain written materials. Additionally, a representative from the Department of Education and Bright Futures will present. A continental breakfast will be provided for attendees. This is not an event for students/families.

Attendees must register through Eventbrite in order to ensure admission to the event.

Parking: Parking will be available at Alico Arena. Registered counselors will receive an email with a printable parking pass approximately one week prior to the event.

Note: This pass must be displayed on your vehicle's dashboard. If you choose to park in a lot or garage other than at Alico Arena, or if you fail to properly display your pass, you may be ticked and are liable for any fines assessed.

Directions Southbound
- From I-75, take the Alico Road exit (Exit 128)
- Turn Left onto Alico Road and travel East for approximately one mile
- Turn Right onto Ben Hill Griffin Pkwy
- Travel approximately two miles south and turn left onto FGCU Lake Parkway W
- At the first stop sign (FGCU Lake Pkwy E) turn left and continue until you reach the Athletic Facilities

Directions Northbound
- From I-75, take the Corkscrew Road exit (Exit 123)
- Turn Right onto Corkscrew Road and travel east for approximately a half mile
- Turn left onto Ben Hill Griffin Parkway
- Travel approximately two miles North and turn right onto FGCU Blvd South
- At the first stop sign, turn left
- Turn left at the stoplight (FGCU Lake Pkwy W)
- Turn right at the stop sign (FGCU Lake Pkwy E) and continue until you reach the Athletic Facilities

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is this okay? Participant names must be listed on our attendance sheet. Participants must register on Eventbrite in order to be on the list. Some school districts collect names of those planning on attending. This is not registration for the event. Registration through Eventbrite is based on room capacity and fire marshal standards. Those not on our registration list may find that they are unable to be admitted.
