Hotel rooms are $150 for a double/shared. That includes the cost of the registration. A single room/private is $250. Those coming for just Saturday will pay $75 which includes the 3 meals that day. Service providers with multiple attendees are asked to send a rooming suggestion list to info@sackonline.org. Please include if you need adjoining rooms or to be on the same floor. DEADLINE FOR ROOMING LISTS IS JUNE 15, 2024!
Payment can be mail by check any time up until the conference to SACK, 2518 Ridge Ct., #238, Lawrence, KS 66046, or by credit card over phone to 785-749-5588, or by PayPal to @SACKSelfAdvocates.
SELF-ADVOCATES: This is an election year for SACK officers. If you want to run, please submit your name, a brief biography, and the office you are running for to the SACK conference registration table! The SACK meeting and election is 7:00 PM Saturday, July 6th. Running for office means you must give a 1-2 minute campaign speech on why should be elected. The offices include President, Vice-President, Treasurer & Secretary.
*Please note: SACK provides some basic personal care services for those who may need it. We do not, however, provide nursing care or disperse medication. See FAQs for more information on the event.
Frequently asked questions
No, you can go home to sleep and come back the next day if you live close by and have transportation. If you just want to attend on Saturday, the fee is $75.
Yes, but you will have to pay for the entire room - $250.
Yes. Support people need to register for the conference and pay for the hotel also.

No. Registration opens at 4 pm and room check-in is at 4 pm as well.

For those staying at the hotel on Friday night, the Drury provides a light dinner in the hotel dining/happy hour area. Dinner Saturday night is also at the hotel dining/happy hour area. Both are 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Yes. It is included in the cost of the room.
Yes, but you will need to give your credit card information to the front desk when you check in.
Yes. The pool also has a lift.
SACK will have a Hoyer lift available to borrow. You may wish to bring your own if you are unable to share.
Yes, but not enough for everyone that might need one. We will reserve a room with a roll-in shower for everyone to share that shower. Sign up for times will be at the conference registration table.
No. The dance is only for people who attend the conference.
Some people dress in their nicest clothes, others choose to come dressed casually. How you dress for the dinner and dance is up to you.
Yes. The dance starts at 8 pm on Saturday night and there will also be a fun photo booth.
Yes. There will be 2024 t-shirts for sale while they last ($15 each). Our color this year is red. Our theme is “Reach for the Stars”.
