"Connecting STEM to the School Garden"
UGA Extension Agents will demonstrate six hands-on classroom lessons that are ready to go!

TIME: 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
LOCATION: White Elementary School, 505 Colonel Way, White, GA 30184
COST: $30 per person

TRAINING SCHEDULE:
9:00 - 9:15 a.m. - Registration - Media Center
9:15 - 10:00 a.m. - Tour of the Gardens - Jennifer Martin, White Elementary
Stations @ 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Each station 40 minutes)
Station #1 - Soil Science - Josh Fuder, Cherokee County ANR Agent
Station #2 - Honey Taste Test - Becky Griffin, UGA School Garden Coordinator
Station #3 - Disease Detective - Paul Pugliese, Bartow County Extension
12:00 - 12:45 p.m. LUNCH from Chick-fil-A
Stations @ 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. (Each station 40 minutes)
Station #1 - Seed Planting Dates - Josh Fuder, Cherokee County ANR Agent
Station #2 - Pollinator Journal - Becky Griffin, UGA School Garden Coordinator
Station #3 - Edible Plant Parts - Katin Martin, Bartow County Extension Educator
3:00 - 3:30 p.m. - Discussion Panel, Questions, and Wrap-Up
