About SBDC: The Santa Cruz Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is a nonprofit organization that provides expert no-cost advising, low cost workshops and small business trainings to guide small businesses to success and accomplishment. The Santa Cruz SBDC serves all of Santa Cruz County, is hosted by Cabrillo Community College, and is part of the Northern California SBDC network.  We work hands-on with entrepreneurs and business owners to address challenges, seize opportunities and grow our clients' bottom line.

Created in 1953, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) continues to help small business owners and entrepreneurs pursue the American dream. The SBA is the only cabinet-level federal agency fully dedicated to small businesses and provides counseling, capital, and contracting expertise as the nation’s only go-to resource and voice for small businesses.
