2ND ANNUAL AMA SAN DIEGO SANDIE AWARDS

The Sandie Awards recognize the outstanding professional and student marketing campaigns across a number of categories and medias produced the previous year in San Diego County.

Last year we had over 60 companies and agencies participate and over 200 people in attendance. This year be prepared to celebrate twice as much with expanded categories, Gold & Silver Awards, Marketer of the Year, & Best of Show.

Join hundreds of your colleagues from other companies, nonprofits, and agencies to honor and celebrate the best in San Diego Marketing. The 2024 event flies higher with an extended networking reception, elevated award ceremony production, and a flamboyant after party!

Reception includes 1 Drink Ticket, Live Music, Gourmet Cheese Station

Award Ceremony includes 3-Course Meal (Pre-Selected Roasted Chicken, Savory Beef, or Specialty Vegan Entree), Wine with dinner, and a cash bar

After Party includes 1 Drink Ticket and late night munchies

Must be 21+ years of age to consume alcohol.

What is your refund policy

Full refund 7 days before the event, May 2, 2024. Contact summer.haines@sdama.org to request a refund.

Is the property and venue ADA compliant and handicap accessible?

Yes, the Town & Country Resort is fully compliant with all ADA policies and codes.

Is parking included?

No, parking for the event is available at a discounted rate of $10. There are multiple parking locations accessible from N. Hotel Circle and Friars Rd.

Is there FREE Parking nearby?

Yes! You can park in the Fashion Valley Transit Center Parking Lot and use the foot bridge to walk over to the Town & Country Resort. It is an easy 3 minute walk.

What is the attire for the event?

San Diego Sophisticated! Leave the suit and ballgown at home. This is not a gala but we want you looking sharp. The after party will be outdoors with heaters so bring an extra layer of feathers.

Will winners give acceptance speeches?

Gold medal winners will be welcomed to the stage by the Emcee and have the mic for 1 minute. Silver winners will be acknowledged from the podium and awarded at their table if in attendance.

Will we know if we are finalists?

Yes. Finalists will be announced on sandieawards.org on April 2, 2024. You will be encouraged to purchase your tickets and/or buy a table if you have not already. Seating will be in demand and limited and you do NOT want to miss this event.

Can you accomodate food allergies?

Yes. Please note them during your ticket registration and we will alert the Chef. Your place card will be coded to note your allergy.

What happens if I need to change a name in my group?

Contact summer.haines@sdama.org and we will update your registration and guest entree selection. Please have all changes in by 4/25/24.

Does the marketing work have to be produced in San Diego?

Yes, the student, agency, or company must be San Diego based. The client or project can be outside of San Diego or even the US.

Does the campaign have to be from 2023?

Yes. The Sandie Awards recognize the work from the previous year. Work done January 1-December 31 of the previous year.

What is the minimum and maximum at a private table?

Minimum is 8. Maximum is 10. The tables do fit 10 comfortably.
