Is the property and venue ADA compliant and handicap accessible?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the Town & Country Resort is fully compliant with all ADA policies and codes.

Question 3

Is parking included?

Accepted Answer

No, parking for the event is available at a discounted rate of $10. You will be given a parking voucher at registration. There are multiple parking locations accessible from N. Hotel Circle and Friars Rd.

Question 4

Is there FREE Parking nearby?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can park in the Fashion Valley Transit Center Parking Lot and use the foot bridge to walk over to the Town & Country Resort. It is an easy 3 minute walk.

Question 5

What is the attire for the event?

Accepted Answer

San Diego Sophisticated! Leave the suit and ballgown at home. This is not a gala but we want you looking sharp. The after party will be outdoors with heaters so bring an extra layer of feathers.

Question 6

Will winners give acceptance speeches?

Accepted Answer

Gold medal winners will be welcomed to the stage by the Emcee and have the mic for 1 minute. Silver winners will be acknowledged from the podium and awarded at their table if in attendance. Bronze winners will be announced at the end of the show and awarded on their way to the after party.

Will we know if we are finalists?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Finalists will be announced on sandieawards.org on April 2, 2024. You will be encouraged to purchase your tickets and/or buy a table if you have not already. Seating will be in demand and limited and you do NOT want to miss this event.

Question 8

Can you accomodate food allergies?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Please note them during your ticket registration and we will alert the Chef. Your place card will be coded to note your allergy.

Question 9

What happens if I need to change a name in my group?

Accepted Answer

Contact summer.haines@sdama.org and we will update your registration and guest entree selection. Please have all changes in by 4/25/24.

Question 10

Does the marketing work have to be produced in San Diego?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the student, agency, or company must be San Diego based. The client or project can be outside of San Diego or even the US.

Question 11

Does the campaign have to be from 2023?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Sandie Awards recognize the work from the previous year. Work done January 1-December 31 of the previous year.

Question 12

What is the minimum and maximum at a private table?

Accepted Answer

Minimum is 8. Maximum is 10. The tables do fit 10 comfortably.
