The PROMISE program at UMBC focuses on providing career advice, professional development, and a sense of community to all graduate students and postdocs at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), particularly for those who self-identify as a member of an underserved community or underrepresented backgrounds pursuing a STEM higher education degree.

We are part of the Graduate Student and Postdoc Development (GSPD) unit at UMBC.
