Yes, the rumors are true! We are so pleased to announce that, after four long years, Bug Stomp is back! And we’ve got an amazing lineup to insure this celebration! Our bands are the legendary Wild Asparagus and Charleston’s very own ContraForce! The callers are just as stellar: George Marshall will be here along with Seth Tepfer.
PBS has been known to sell out fast, so please do not wait to sign up! We cannot wait to welcome back our old friends from far and wide, and to welcome new friends to our Bug Stomp community
Exciting workshops and fresh fruit snacks provided throughout the weekend.
We will also be dancing for the first time at a new venue, which has a beautiful wood floor, a larger dance space and an outdoor courtyard.

As before, some housing will be offered with local dancers, but is not guaranteed. After you register, you will receive information on how to request or offer housing.

So sorry to hear that! You sure are missing out! Our refund policy states we charge a $15 cancellation fee for refunds. After April 15, 2024, we do not offer refunds for any reason. For cancellations, contact us at palmettobugstomp@gmail.com and we will do our best to forge a fair outcome for all.
This is a full-weekend, high-level dance geared toward experienced dancers. Beginners will have a much better time at our monthly Friday dances instead: find us on Facebook or the Charleston Folk website to find out more information.
