2024 One Summer Chicago (Code + Create) Showcase

Coding is essential for helping youth thrive in a future driven by technology.  Everyone should have the opportunity to learn to code.  Launched in 2016, the Everyone Can Code program gives everyone the power to learn, write and teach code using Swift -- a powerful and easy to use programming language created by Apple and embraced by developers and businesses everywhere.In December 2017, the Everyone Can Code Chicago initiative was launched as a public-private partnership that expands opportunities for youth to develop coding skills and explore career pathways.  Through this initiative, employees at local businesses share their professional experience with youth.  And the youth have the opportunity to gain work experience through internships.
