Join us for the best local food party of the year! The North Market Downtown Apron Gala features music, drinks and a fun three-course dining experience while strolling through the city’s historic market.

We’re taking the opportunity to thank our community for their support and our lineup of wonderful merchants for their hard work.

Proceeds from this event help North Market Downtown to preserve and renew a unique experience for all members of the community by nurturing local merchant entrepreneurship, providing fresh and abundant food and food-related merchandise.

Tickets:

  • $125 Early Bird General Admission - if tickets are still available, there will be Last Minute General Admission tickets for $150 (day of the event). Because of the limited capacity of this event, please purchase your tickets early. Includes everything listed above in details.
  • $150 VIP Ticket - only a limited number of VIP tickets are available. Includes everything in general admission as well as early access beginning at 6:30 p.m. for a pre-Gala reception with North Market Executive Director Rick Harrison Wolfe, a special drink and additional, exclusive food tastes. VIP tickets will sell out, make sure to get yours early!

Attire: Aprons are encouraged at this fun, casual event, but comfortable shoes are a must. Dress to have a great time!

Where can I park for this event?

North Market Downtown parking is now located in the Vine Street garage. We strongly encourage guests to consider rideshare options for this event.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, it is not necessary to bring a paper ticket to this event. If you do not bring a paper ticket, please make sure to have your digital ticket ready on your mobile device. Guests that do not have a digital or paper ticket ready can still be checked in by Market Staff.

What is the refund policy?

What is the Apron Gala?

The Apron Gala is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the North Market Development Authority. Money raised at Apron Gala sustains this unique community asset, furthers the mission of making fresh, local food more accessible, and supports the small business owners at North Market Downtown.

What about food and drinks?

North Market Downtown merchants prepare unique dishes exclusively for this event, served in three courses: appetizers, main bites, and desserts. Ticket prices include fine wine and beer. VIP ticket prices include fine wine and beer along with a specialty cocktail.

What about entertainment?

Entertainment includes live music, a wandering magician, and more!

What is the dress code?

Guests should dress to have a great time at this high-energy event. Aprons and comfortable shoes are strongly suggested!

In operation in downtown Columbus, Ohio since 1876, North Market Downtown is Central Ohio’s historic public market. 2020 brought the revolutionary opening of North Market Bridge Park, a new public market located in the City of Dublin at the Bridge Park development.

Downtown, more than 30 best-in-class merchants uphold the standard of excellence in product and services residents have come to expect from Columbus' last remaining public market. North Market Bridge Park features 18 merchants that are some of the finest tastemakers in the region. Both Markets offer a wide variety of fresh produce, meat, poultry, seafood, flowers and other specialty food items. The Markets also provide an international selection of freshly prepared foods, distinctive gifts, and personable service from owner/operators. North Market is managed by the North Market Development Authority, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
