2024 New York City Pride Parade

Join us at the forefront of progress and unity at the 2024 New York City Pride Parade! This year's theme, "Reflect. Empower. Unite." encapsulates our ongoing journey toward equality and visibility throughout the industry. This year, we will gather in Chelsea to commence a march that not only celebrates our identities but also honors the legacy of those who have paved the way for the rights we cherish today. As we stride through the streets of Manhattan, from the bustling energy of Midtown to the historic streets of the West Village, we carry the banner of inclusivity, showcasing the vibrancy and resilience of our community. Don't miss this chance to be part of a moving display of solidarity and pride in our professional and personal lives.

What To Expect

• A Grand Assembly of Professionals: Engage with hundreds of fellow architects, designers, engineers, and builders from the queer community and our allies, all decked out in a special 2024 Build Out Alliance Pride T-shirt.
• A March Through History: Experience the thrill of marching down Fifth Avenue, a path that echoes the steps of pioneers in the queer rights movement, ending in the spirited neighborhoods of the West Village.
• Memorable Moments: Capture and share moments of joy and unity with your industry peers, creating memories that will empower and inspire long after the march has ended.
• Festive Atmosphere: Enjoy an atmosphere filled with music, laughter, and camaraderie, fostering connections that go beyond professional networks into lasting friendships.

Some Ground Rules

• Respect and Safety: Alcohol is not permitted during the march to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
• Dress Code: Pride t-shirts will be provided, and while festive accessories are encouraged, please refrain from displaying corporate logos other than those of Build Out Alliance.
• Water & Snacks: Bring a bottle of water and a small snack just in case you need a little something along the march route.
• Prepare for Weather: Check the weather forecast before meeting up with us: bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat or visor if it's sunny; or waterproof clothing like a rain jacket or Pancho if there's inclement weather expected.
