About this event

Join us for the National Art Honor Society Conference during the 2024 NAEA National Convention in beautiful Minneapolis, MN!

The conference will include a keynote presentation, hands-on workshops, interactive learning sessions with artists, portfolio review, time to explore the NAEA24 Exhibit Hall, and more. Students will connect with their creative peers, exchange ideas, and share their passion for the arts.

Note: Teachers registered for the 2024 NAEA National Convention can drop students off while attending sessions. Teachers can also choose to chaperone and spend the day with students at no additional cost.

How to Register

To register for the 2024 NAHS National Student Conference, you must be an educator registering one or more students for attendance. Students cannot register for the 2024 NAHS Conference directly. If you are a student interested in attending the 2024 NAHS National Student Conference, please speak to your school’s administration and/or art educator.  

Registration for the 2024 NAHS National Student Conference does not include registration for the 2024 NAEA National Convention. If you are interested in attending the 2024 NAEA National Convention, click here


Step 1: Become an Active Member of NAEA 

You need to be an active member of NAEA to bring students to the 2024 NAHS Conference. Click here to activate your membership. 

Already a member? Fantastic! Proceed to Step 2. 

Step 2: Register Your Students for the 2024 NAHS Conference (and Activate Your Chapter!) 

As the representing chapter sponsor, you need to register each of your students for the 2024 NAHS Conference. If you are a current sponsor of an active NAHS chapter, your registration fee is $54 per student. If you are not sponsoring a currently active NAHS chapter, you will activate your chapter as part of this conference registration process. Registration for inactive chapters is $59 per student. 

You will need the following information for each attending student:  

  • First name, last name, student email 
  • Parent or guardian, emergency contact number
  • Student T-shirt size and any dietary restrictions
  • Student selection of breakout session
  • Attending teacher’s first name, attending teacher’s last name, attending teacher’s email, attending teacher’s cell phone number

To help you collect and enter this information, you can make a copy of our GoogleForm. Completion of this form does not register your students for the conference, this is a tool to collect the information needed in order to register your students for the conference. Please use this sample form as a template. You may choose to adjust the information you are requesting based on the needs of your students. These forms are not to be sent to NAEA but for sponsor use only.
