2024 Midwest Regional Gala Days

We are happy to announce that the Imperial Deputies of/for the Deserts of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan/Canada, Ohio, and Wisconsin are hosting a Joint Gala Days Celebration. This event is being hosted by the Desert of Indiana. Gala Days officially starts Friday, May 31, 2024, through Sunday, June 2, 2024, at the Courtyard Muncie at Horizon Convention Center, 601 S. High St., Muncie Indiana 47305. You are welcome to arrive early on Thursday, May 30, 2024. The hotel room blocks are setup for the Thursday, May 30, 2024 early arrival date if needed. · $200.00 per person (includes kit and one banquet ticket) Apr 1st - May 22nd at 11:59 p.m. EST

On Site registration will be $225 after May 22nd. Cancellations will be approved on a case-by-case basis.

SOUVENIR JOURNAL:

To commemorate this special event, we are providing a virtual Souvenir Journal and would like you and the businesses in your area to express best wishes by purchasing an ad. Deadline for ads is May 20, 2024. If you have any additional questions please email mwrgd.sj@desertofindiana.org.

VENDORS AND FOOD TRUCKS:

Vendors (clothing, jewelry, goods, etc.) and food trucks are needed. Deadline for Vendors (Merchandise) is April 30, 2024.

Food application deadline must be submitted by April 20, 2024. If you have any additional questions please email mwrgd.vendors@desertofindiana.org.

2024 MIDWEST REGIONAL GALA SHIRTS:

Midwest Regional Gala Day Shirts will be available for purchase. More information is forthcoming.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH:

The Community Outreach Committee is collecting diabetic socks for the “Stomping Out Diabetes; One Foot at a Time” Drive. The socks will be donated to local nursing homes throughout the Desert of Indiana. Please bring as many diabetic socks as possible to Gala Days. A trophy will be awarded to the Desert that donates the most socks.

Monetary donations are also being accepted for the other community outreach initiatives within the Desert of Indiana. A check will be presented to the chosen non-profit organization.
