About this event

  • Event lasts 6 hours

Join us at our fourth annual Memphis Literacy Conference on September 21, 2024, where we will expose Mid-South teachers and leaders to research-based best practices, foster and unite the literacy community in Memphis, and actively advocate for equitable and evidenced-based literacy practices. We are honored to welcome Kareem Weaver, Co-Founder and Executive Director of FULCRUM and the lead changemaker featured in The Right to Read documentary, as our keynote speaker.

New this year, we've added a THIRD session block! During each block, attendees will select the session of their choosing in a variety of locations in the Crosstown Concourse Building. All session descriptions include a "recommended audience" label.

Registration is $55 and includes attendance, lunch, a T-shirt, and swag bag. Memphis Literacy Conference has historically qualified for state of Tennessee PDPs and Memphis-Shelby County Schools PLZ.

Refund policy: Refund requests received on or before September 6, 2024 will be honored but are subject to an administrative fee. Registrants canceling on or after September 7, 2024 will not receive a refund, but registration may be transferred to another individual. In the event that the Memphis Literacy Conference is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, the cost of registration will be refunded.
