Grab your broomsticks and paddles for the 4th Annual Macon Witches Float! Join us on October 6 for a magical journey down the Ocmulgee River
Witches, warlocks, and wizards welcome!🧙♀️Paddle into the spirit of the season with this family-friendly event on the Ocmulgee River.
Get ready to don your most enchanting costume and join us for a spellbinding afternoon on the water. Swap your broomsticks for paddles and bring your non-motorized flotation device – if you don't have one, rentals are available from Ocmulgee Outdoor Expeditions.
📅 WHEN: Sunday, October 6, 2022
⏰ Check-in: 2:00 - 3:00 PM
🧙♀️ Witches' gathering: 3:00 PM
🌊 Float down the Oxbow: Begins at 3:00 PM
🚐 Shuttle service: Returns from Bragg Jam South River access; last shuttle at 5:30 PM
📍 WHERE: Amerson River Park Jay Hall Memorial Canoe Launch (North end)
Tickets:
🎟️ Early Bird (before Sept 1): $20
🎟️ Regular (Sept 1 - Oct 5): $25
🎟️ Day of: $30
Proceeds benefit Macon Periods Easier and the Scholarship Fund for ABC Breathe.
🔮 Float at your own risk. Weather permitting. No lifeguard on duty. Please follow all Park Rules and regulations.
🎁 The first 150 participants will receive exclusive goodie bags! Everyone gets a wristband!
