Hosted by LA Opera in collaboration with LA County Supervisor Hilda L. Solis, First District; Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture; and Healing Arts—an initiative of the Jameel Arts & Health Lab—and the World Health Organization, this unique summit offers conversations and participatory experiences, and promotes creative ways to approach wellness.

Thought leaders including arts practitioners, medical experts and administrators, policymakers and researchers will gather at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion for discussions and presentations exploring how the arts can increasingly, and equitably, support health and wellbeing. The event features Special Projects Advisor for LA Opera, WHO Goodwill Ambassador for Arts and Health and acclaimed soprano Renée Fleming, among other notable advocates for the arts in healthcare.

What time should I arrive?

Please provide yourself with enough time to park in The Music Center parking garage and make your way to the entrance of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. There will be an opportunity to enjoy coffee and tea in the Eva and Marc Stern Grand Hall and network with fellow attendees before Opening Remarks.

What food options are available to attendees during the break for lunch?

Lunch will not be provided as part of the Summit. We will have a list of dinning options in the area available upon check-in. Options include: Au Lac, Bak's Kitchen, Café Persona and more.

Can I register on behalf of a colleague or will they need to register themselves?

You may register a colleague along with yourself. If you are registering multiple individuals, please have all registrants' information ready as you complete the form.

May I record or take photos of the presentations?

We kindly ask that you refrain from photographing or filming any part of the Summit. We will have a team filming the Summit for future release on our LA Opera Connects YouTube channel. A post-Summit recap will also be available on the LA Opera website.
