Come and enjoy this super fun Bubble Run! Enjoy a run through foam, bubbles, a slip n’ slide, candy hunt and a foam cannon in this exciting fun race! Run either the .25-, .5-, 1- or 2-mile course. Special medals for top 10 finishers in the 1- or 2-mile race. Have fun and enjoy the bubbles!

Pickerington Bubble Run Details:

Date: Saturday, July 20, 2024

Where: Mount Carmel PASA Sports Complex (630 Hill Rd N, Pickerington, OH 43147)

Start Location: Just slightly north of the check-in area. Look for the “Start” flags.

Distance: Bubble Run (.25, .5, 1 or 2 Mile – Note 1-mile course is actually 1.2 miles and 2-mile course is 1.9 miles)

Start Time:

• 1 & 2 Mile: 10:20 AM
• .25 & .5 Mile: 10:35 AM

Course Description:

• Part 1 - Bubble Machines: Start race with our bubble machines
• Part 2 - Candy Hunt (.25 & .5 mile only): Run to a candy hunt. Lots of treats and prizes!
• Part 3 - Slip ‘N Slide: Run to our slip n’ slides filled with foam
• Part 4 - Foam Cannon: Our new foam cannon – tons of foam!
• Part 5 - Finish Line: Special medals for 1st 10 finishers by gender (1 or 2 mile only). Finish line medal (all participants)
• Part 6 - Post Race: Enjoy the Pickerington Back to School Bash!

Packet Pick-up Options:

Saturday, July 20th 9:00AM – Till race starts

• 9AM: Packet Pick-up Opens (Near the main pavilion – look for Gorilla)
• 10:20AM: 1 & 2 Mile Bubble Run Starts
• 10:35AM: .25 & .5 Mile Bubble Run Starts

Course Maps

This is a super fun course! The .25 and .5 mile have a specific course map. The 1-and 2-mile course has a longer route, with 1 mile doing 2 laps and 2 mile doing 3 laps. The 1-mile course is actually 1.2 miles, and the 2-mile course is 1.9 miles. The course is closed to traffic (not on city streets). All of the course is on grass.

Race Day Updates

Race day updates on the Pickerington Run will be either posted on the KidsLinked Facebook page or via email. Final runner instructions will be sent the week of the race!

Inclement Weather Policy

The Pickerington Bubble Run will start as scheduled at 10:20AM and 10:35AM (or start times listed above) regardless of rain, snow or cold temperatures.

If there is visible lightning in the area, the race will be delayed for a minimum of 15 minutes. The race would only be further delayed, postponed or canceled if extreme conditions jeopardize the safety of participants.

Please follow KidsLinked for constant updates and listen closely to all public address announcements on Race Day for information and instruction!

Please note: KidsLinked has a NO REFUND policy for all events. Course closes at 11AM.

Spectator Information:

Friends and family are welcome to watch and cheer! Only runners/walkers with an official race bib for the Pickerington Bubble Run will be allowed on the course.
