Frequently asked questions

What is the Latino Education Summit?

The Latino Education Summit is open to all Indiana high school students across the state. This FREE event is focused on providing Latinx students information on the college application process, FAFSA, and other critical topics.

Can I bring students who are not Latino?

The Summit is open to all students. The content of the event is focused on uplifting and supporting Latino high school students, but we will serve all who attend.

Can I bring freshmen and sophomore students?

Some of the event locations, specifically Indianapolis, is limited in capacity. We welcome all Latino high school students interested in attending, but would like schools to prioritize their junior and senior students as needed.

Do I need to pack lunches for my students?

No, ILI will provide free lunches to all attendees.

What do I do if I don't have transportation, but would still like to attend?

Depending on the base challenge in your lack of transportation (i.e. funding, lack of buses), ILI might be able to provide some assistance. Please call ILI at 317-472-1055 to discuss resources available for transportation support.
