About this event

Join us for a chance to explore the amazing efforts of Libertyville's neighborhood gardeners. The Hidden Gems Garden Walk on Saturday, June 29th, gives an insider's look into stunning outdoor spaces hidden just behind the front gate. The Garden Walk features five exceptional gardens in our area.

Gather some friends and enjoy a special summer Saturday on this self-guided tour, driving within Libertyville to five sites. Meet the gardeners who design and create these suburban oases. Be inspired and collect ideas for your own yards. This year's gardens spotlight vegetable gardening, integrating native plants into landscape, using swathes of no-mow grass, and small and large lot landscaping.

After a very positive response to our featured artists at each garden site, we are inviting new artists to show and sell their work. See details of our Artists and their Work.

Add a stroll down Mainstreet Libertyville to shop or dine.

Proceeds from Hidden Gems fund community plantings, Libertyville Food Pantry, and a Scholarship for area students enrolled in a Horticulture/Environmental related field.

Ticket prices are $20; $25 day of the walk. Ticket sales are capped at 500 to manage road and garden traffic. Please watch our Facebook site, webpage, and this site for updates on ticket availability.

Tickets are available for in-person purchase at the Village Hall (Cash only); on June Thursdays at the Farmer's Market (Cash or Credit/Debit); here online on Eventbrite (credit card use with fee).

ALL ONLINE TICKETS WILL BE PICKED UP On Saturday, June 29, AT 740 Oak Spring Lane. To manage traffic, this is an independent location between two garden sites. Other sites will not have available online-pickup tickets or ticket-holder lists. Online tickets can also be picked up at the in-person sale dates at the Farmer's Market.

The tour is rain or shine, no refunds.

Rain: Umbrella, boots or garden shoes, jacket, water.

Shine: Hat, sunscreen, water.

Street parking is available outside each home. The gardens are not wheelchair accessible and some gardens have stairs. Strollers not permitted. Pets not permitted. See FAQ's for further information.
