The classic Running Ram Gahanna 5k is an amazing run along the beautiful Big Walnut trail. Or do the super fun Gahanna Adventure-Bubble Run and get to experience bubbles, foam cannon and a candy hunt!

Gahanna 5k or Adventure-Bubble Run Details:

• Date: Friday, May 10,2024
• Where: Shepherd Christian School (425 Hamilton Rd, Gahanna, OH 43230)
• Start Location: Grass area, lower part of the hill from the parking lot
• Distance: Gahanna 5k (3.1 Miles) or Adventure-Bubble Run (.5 or 1 mile)
• Start Time:

---Running Rams Gahanna 5k: 6PM

---Adventure-Bubble Run (.5 and 1 mile): 6:45PM

• Awards (Running Rams Gahanna 5k only): Special Awards for the 1st 10 finishers by gender at finish line in order of finish!
• Medal for all finishers!
• Special Candy Hunt (.5 or .1 Mile Adventure -Bubble Run Only): Run to 2 different candy/prize hunt areas during the run! Super fun way to do a race!

Registration Fees (Each participant must register):

• Adventure or Bubble Run: .5 or 1 Mile $15

Adventure-Bubble Run (6:45PM)

• .5 or 1 mile run or walk
• Run to 1 candy hunt; prizes for .5 mile or 2 Candy Hunts for 1 mile!
• New this year – FOAM Cannon! Tons of foam and bubbles – so much fun!
• Plus tons of bubbles!
• Finish line medal
• Tritan 1L sports water bottle

Packet Pickup:

Friday, May 10th 5PM – Till race starts

• Event Check-in (North part of parking lot). Look for our giant gorilla!

• 6PM: Running Rams Gahanna 5k Starts
• 6:45: Gahanna Adventure-Bubble Run Starts

Course Maps

This is a super fun course! All races will take you through the scenic Franklin County Railroad Park (see historic railroad items from the Hilliard area). The 1.5- and 3-mile course will take you on a rare opportunity to run on the Franklin County race track! The 1.5 mile is 1 lap while the 3 mile is 2 laps. The course is closed to traffic (not on city streets).

Race Day Updates

Race Day Updates will be either posted on the KidsLinked Facebook page or via email. Final runner instructions will be sent the week of the race!

Inclement Weather Policy

The Gahanna 5k and Adventure Run will start as scheduled at 6PM (or start times listed above) regardless of rain, snow or cold temperatures.

If there is visible lightning in the area, the race will be delayed for a minimum of 15 minutes. The race would only be further delayed, postponed or canceled if extreme conditions jeopardize the safety of participants.

Please follow KidsLinked for constant updates and listen closely to all public address announcements on Race Day for information and instruction!

Please note: KidsLinked has a NO REFUND policy for all events. Course closes at 7:10PM.

Spectator Information:

Friends and family are welcome to watch and cheer! Only runners/walkers with an official race bib for Gahanna 5k or Gahanna Adventure will be allowed on the course.
