About this event

  • 51 days 2 hours

FRSecure is fighting to fix a broken industry.

One unique approach we use to bring about change is our Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Mentor Program.

The global demand for cybersecurity talent has been a topic of discussion within the security and risk management landscape for many years. Pre-pandemic research indicated there would be 3.5 million unfilled cybersecurity positions by 2021.

Our mentor program is taught by industry-leading professionals and provided at no cost to participants as a way to help fill those open positions. By preparing you for the CISSP certification exam, we’re investing in the industry, and opening doors for future well-qualified information security professionals.

There is no cost for the classes within the mentor program; however, students will need to purchase the textbook and pay to take the CISSP exam should they choose to take it.

Care to Pitch In?

While we don’t charge attendees anything for our annual CISSP Mentor Program, there are costs associated with running the course each year.

In 2024, for the first time ever, we are able to accept donations through InfoSec Pathways, a non-profit organization we established last year to create opportunities and address inequities across the security industry.

Donations will be used to offset the cost of the CISSP Mentor Program and fund other security training initiatives.
