Note: Session 1 will run from 0900 to 1100, while Session 2 will be held from 1300 to 1500. We ask that you arrive in time to be seated in Arnold Auditorium prior to the start time - registration will open at 0800 for Session 1 and 1200 for Session 2. You may attend one or both sessions.


Session 1 (0900 - 1100) Registration begins at 0800 : Corie Weathers leads a comprehensive exploration of the impact of war, financial considerations, and generational perspectives on morale, retention, and leadership within the military. As part of her session, she will highlight the evolving impact of quality of life issues on military culture, underscoring the necessity of the Five & Thrive Military Community Quality of Life (QX) model, discussed in the previous panel, to comprehensively address these challenges. The first 100 registrants will obtain a FREE copy of her book , Military Culture Shift, The Impact of War, Money, and Generational Perspective on Morale, Retention, and Leadership.


Session 2 (1300 - 1500) Registration begins at 1200: This session aims to provide an in-depth overview of the Five & Thrive initiative, which addresses the top five quality-of-life challenges for military families: Childcare, Education, Healthcare, Housing, and Spouse Employment. Recognizing the strategic importance of military family well-being for recruitment, readiness, resilience, and retention, this symposium underscores the connection between military family quality of life and national security. Led by Mrs. Sharene Brown, the spouse of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, a Community Partnership Panel will dive into collaborative efforts to tackle these challenges, featuring prominent members representing the Five & Thrive Military Community Quality of Life Experience (QX) model, including military leaders, community partners, and military-connected families. Gen CQ Brown Jr, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, will deliver closing remarks on the pivotal role of community partnerships during this session.
