About this event

The poker ride will consist of a mapped out trail with check points where you will collect cards to make a poker hand. At the end of the trail the group with the best hand will win a prize. More prize categories will be announced soon.

You will register in groups, up to 5 riders per group. The preregistration cost is $30 a group and registration at the event will be $45. Check in will begin at 8:30 a.m. and run until 11:30 a.m. If you arrive after registration ends you can still participate but you will need to collect your poker hand at check in. Once all groups have completed the ride and turned in their hands we will announce the group with the winning hand at 4:30 p.m. and present them with a prize. Groups must be present to win.

Horses will not be provided. In order to participate in the ride you must provide your own horse. Please enter the park at the Horsemen’s camp entrance off of St Rd 135 . Horse trailers may not enter at the main gate. Park entry fees and bridle tags are not included in the event fee. If you do not have a 2024 bridle tag Day ride passes are available for $5 at the guard shack when entering camp.

The scheduled rain day will be Sunday May 12th. We will follow the same time schedule. If you chose not to participate your preregistration will be considered a donation.
