2024 FARM Rx 5k Fundraiser

All the funds raised during this 5k will support the Athens Farmers Market's food access program, FARM Rx! This program provides free fruits and vegetables and cooking/nutrition classes to low income families with diet-related illnesses.

You must follow all ACC Park and Leisure Service rules and policies during this race. Dogs are allowed if leashed and no paws are allowed on any of the tennis courts.

Bishop Park has bathrooms that will be open at 6:30am by the double tennis courts near the pool and check in.

Yes! We encourage friends, families, and neighbors to cheer on their racing pals! There will be many possible locations throughout the race route for spectators to gather, please be mindful of your surroundings, the runners, and traffic.

We will be unable to provide refunds for any reason.

If there is dangerous weather, we will cancel the event and inform everyone via email 1 hour before the race start time (7:30am)

No, you can walk, jog, or run the 5k which is equivalent to 3.1 miles. Walking would take ~75 minutes.

Yes! We encourage all members of the family to race together in this fundraiser.

Yes, but please be mindful of the runners in front of you. We will line up all runners with strollers at the back of the race.
