What time can we arrive for parking?

Accepted Answer

You can arrive for your parking spot no earlier than 10:00 am on April 8 (the day of the eclipse). We have allowed for arrival this early simply because of possible traffic
 concerns in the area. Rest assured that you will be able to have a great parking spot regardless of the time you arrive.

Question 2

What time do we have to vacate our parking space?

Accepted Answer

Parking is for the eclipse event only so parking spots should be vacated following its conclusion. However, should traffic in the area make it difficult to get on the road, it is totally ok to wait until that dies down a bit.

Question 3

What is included in the ticket price?

Accepted Answer

One single ticket secures a parking space for one vehicle. If your group needs more than one vehicle to transport all of your people, you will need to purchases multiple tickets.

Question 4

Do I have to stay at my vehicle to watch the eclipse?

Accepted Answer

No, foot traffic is welcome throughout most of the property. Simply avoid heading up to the house and respect the campers that will be here by staying out of their campsites.

Question 5

What facilities or amenities will be on site?

Accepted Answer

Porta potties will be available for use during the event. There will be no concessions, or other supplies so you will need to bring anything you need for the day. Supplies you will want to bring include eclipse viewing glasses/eye protection, food, water, etc.

Question 6

Can we cook out while we are parked on the property?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Off-ground grills are permitted to be used but will not be supplied (you would need to bring your own grill). Grills must be attended at all times when they are in use.

Question 7

Can we have a campfire?

Accepted Answer

No. Campfires will not be permitted(other than those at designated campsites included with campsite rental). Anyone using unauthorized campfires will be asked to leave the property immediately without refund.

Question 8

Can I bring my dog with me?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your dog can accompany you for the day but must be in your vehicle or on a leash at all times. You must also pick up any pet waste your pup leaves behind.
