About this event

Advancing Equitable Civic Engagement is about bridging resources, identities, and organizations to a greater purpose of reclaiming our narrative and shifting power. The purpose of the Equitable Civic Engagement Fund (ECEF) is to provide grants to nonprofit organizations committed to educating, connecting + empowering voting age residents in the Greater Cleveland area. We seek to work with organizations that are committed to democracy building, racial equity + participatory practices.

If you are interested in applying, we invite you to attend one of our upcoming Technical Assistance Sessions to learn more about the ECEF, as well as ask questions about the application process. Attending a drop-in session is optional, but it is strongly recommended (especially if this is your first time applying to the ECEF).

We will offer four drop-in sessions:

  • ECEF RFP Technical Assistance Session #1 - April 25 @ 5:30-6:30 p.m.
  • ECEF RFP Technical Assistance Session #2 - April 30 @ 6-7:00 p.m.
  • ECEF RFP Technical Assistance Session #3 - May 7 @ 12-1:00 p.m.
  • ECEF RFP Technical Assistance Session #4 - May 9 @ 9-10:00 a.m.

Fyi, if you register for a session, you do not have to stay the entire hour. You can ask your questions and then you are free to go.

In advance of attending, we encourage you to visit our website and/or review some of our recent reports and toolkits, which may be found here. You can also see last year's ECEF Grantees by going to clevotes.com/who-we-are and clicking on GRANTEES. This will help you become familiarized with the CV mission and give you an idea of who we have funded in the past.

In power,
