2024 East Texas Turf - Fall Baseball/Softball League


Welcome to the 2024 East Texas Turf Fall Baseball/Softball League! Join us at East Texas Turf for an exciting season of baseball and softball. Whether you're a player on a team or just starting out and need a team, this league is perfect for all skill levels. Coaches are encouraged to bring their own team, but we have individual registrations as well with teams to be formed.

Season will be comprised of 6 weeks, 10 scheduled games in total. Games will begin September 2nd. At the conclusion of the 6 weeks, there will be an end of season tournament.

All Baseball Rec divisions will be closed bases. All Baseball Select/Open divisions will be open bases.

All Softball divisions will be regulated by USSSA Fastpitch rules.

Gametimes will be as follows:

  • 6U - 1 hour
  • 8U - 1 hour 10 minutes
  • 9U/10U/12U/14U - 1 hour 20 minutes

If a team is comprised of 5 or more select ball players, the team must play in the Select/Open division. It is encouraged for all teams to play in the division that best suits the team's skill level. League admin will have discretion to move teams to different divisions as needed

Baseball age/division is decided by player age as of 5/1/2025. ( Examples: Player turns 10 on 8/14/24, he can be in 10U. Player turns 7 on 5/2/25, he can be in 6U)

Softball age/division is decided by player age as of 1/1/2025. (Examples: Player turns 11 on 11/12/24, she can be in 12U. Player turns 11 1/2/25, she can be in 10U)

How many players are allowed on each team?

Up to 12

Will a roster be required on each team?

Yes. Rosters will be finalized prior to games beginning.

Will each team be responsible for paying umpires?

No. All umpire fees will be paid by the league

Will there be any practice times available prior to games beginning?

Yes. Practice times will be determined by the league admin following registration

How will uniforms be handled?

Each team will be responsible for their own uniforms. Uniforms must have distinct number per player on back of uniform

Do I need to register as an individual player also if I am on a team that is registered?

No. If a player is on a team and will be listed on the roster of that team registration, an individual player registration does not need to be completed.

Are their batting cages available on-site?

Yes. We have two outside cages and two inside cages located at the park. These cages will be at a first come-first serve basis.

What are the bat requirements?

Baseball Rec divisions are required to use USA stamped bats. Baseball Select/Open divisions are able to use USSSA stamped bats. Softball is required to use any USSSA stamped fastpitch bat
