Camp cost: $375/camper

4-H Junior Camp is co-ed, and campers must be 9-13 as of 09/30/2024. Dinwiddie Residents and/or 4-H Club Members only unless spots become available.

** A max of 3 boy tickets and 3 girl tickets can be grabbed at a time. If you have a greater need for more tickets, we recommend having another adult grab tickets and spliting the process.

3 Easy Steps to Sign a Child up for 4-H Camp TO BE COMPLETED IN THIS ORDER

1) Fill out the 4-H Camp Registration Form by selecting "Get Tickets"

2) DO NOT DO THIS STEP UNTIL YOU COMPLETE STEP 1. Enroll your child in 4-H Online. This enrollment ensures that we have your child's full health history information and Code of Conduct. Make sure to enroll your child in the 4-H Camp unit. For those 4-Hers already enrolled in 4-H Online, 4-H staff can help to add the 4-H Camp unit to your existing enrollment.

2) Pay for camp. A deposit of $100 is due with your registration and the remainder of the camp fee must be paid by May 1st. You are also welcome to pay the full $375 after registering for camp. The camp fee can be paid by cash, check, or money order and more information about those options can be found on the Payment Page.

Registration will open early for 4-Hers who are active Dinwiddie 4-H club members on March 4 at 10AM and close 24 hours later. Registration will open to the general public on March 7, 2023 at 8:00 PM. First time campers can request one roommate, and we will do our best to accommodate requests. Returning campers will be placed in rooms based on age.

*Ages as of 09/30/2024. Best way to determine age eligible is to ask, "How old will my child be on 09/30/2024?" If the answer is 9, 10, 11, 12, or 13, then they are age eligible for camp. So yes, that does mean some 8 year olds are eligible to go!

Frequently asked questions

How does this ticket process work?

If you are able to add a ticket and see the remaining order form, the ticket is held for you for a total of 12 minutes while you complete the questions. If you do not finish in that 12 minutes, the ticket will open back up and show as available to the next person.

What determines an active club member for the early bird registration?

To be eligible for the early bird ticket, youth must have attended three or more Dinwiddie 4-H club meetings from Oct 1 2023 to now. We do verify these as we always take attendance.

I live in another locality, can I sign up for your camp?

Priority is given to Dinwiddie residents and Dinwiddie 4-H club members. Check with your local extension office to find out when your local 4-H camp is offered. If spots are available after March 21, we will allow outside residents to register with us. Please do not register until March 21.
