About this event

BIL Funding and Beyond

You are invited to attend the 2024 Delaware Environmental Monitoring Summit. This year’s theme “BIL Funding and Beyond” will be centered around highlighting the great environmental monitoring work being done across the State/Regionally where the influx of Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) and/or American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds have contributed to new or existing efforts. Additionally, we are looking to highlight any collaborative funding efforts across agencies and potentially bring in some subject matter experts to share tips and tricks when pursuing nontraditional funding sources. The Summit will include several oral presentation sessions, as well as a poster session for students, and plenty of networking opportunities over refreshments and lunch.

Meeting Location:

Delaware State University

Martin Luther King Jr. Student Center (Parlors B&C)

1200 North DuPont Highway

Dover, DE 19901

Expected outcomes of this meeting include:

The DEMCC and, more generally, members of the Delaware environmental monitoring community identify ways to better meet the environmental data needs of decision makers throughout Delaware, and increase awareness and coordination of current and future environmental monitoring efforts.
