As rehabilitation professionals, it is our responsibility to provide these individuals with the most evidence-based approach to examination and treatment to maximize functional recovery. The goal of this course is to provide a comprehensive approach to stroke management based on functional presentation. In addition, we will review medical, pharmacological, and anatomical characteristics in stroke management to develop a collaborative and thorough approach to treatment.

Course Objectives:

• Develop appropriate evidence-based treatment utilizing the principles of neuroplasticity through case-based learning

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plan
