2024 CREATIVE INDUSTRIES SUMMIT

The 11th annual Creative Industries Summit will be held in Pueblo. This two-day conference targets creative entrepreneurs, artists and creatives, municipal and non-profit cultural workers, and creative district leaders. From marketing to community development strategies, topics address practical, nuts-and-bolts approaches to creative business and how-to’s for working collectively with creatives, municipalities and businesses.

Dates: Thursday, May 9 and Friday, May 10, 2024

NOTE: Pre-registration is required for the Summit and ends Monday, May 6th or when the event sells out. We will not be offering on-site registration.

Registration fees

  • Early bird registration before March 31, 2024; $200 (plus registration fees)
  • After March 31, 2024; $225 (plus registration fees)
  • Students (ID), Seniors (65+), and Pueblo Residents; $150

In person event registration includes all sessions, tours, the Governor's Creative Leadership Awards luncheon, light breakfast, lunch and appetizers Thursday, and breakfast and lunch Friday.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

There are a limited number of volunteer spots available. In exchange for 4 hours of volunteering, you'll recieve free registration. If you're interested in volunteering, please fill out this form and CCI staff will contact you.

Frequently asked questions

Where will the event be held?

The majority of the event will be held at the Pueblo Convention Center; however, some events and tours will take place in other locations around the area.

Do you offer one day registration?

We do not currently offer one day registration.

What does the event fee include?

Pricing includes access to all sessions, tours, the Governor's Creative Leadership Awards Luncheon, and the Friday Plenary Luncheon.

What meals are provided during the event?

Thursday, May 9: pastries & coffee, catered lunch, and appetizers Friday, May 10: breakfast & catered lunch

What if I have a special dietary requirement?

We can accommodate vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free dietary needs. Please indicate requirements during registration.

What if I need to request an accommodation?

Attendees requiring accommodations including wheelchair access, hearing and visual aids, dietary needs, etc. should indicate those needs on the registration form or may contact us directly at emma.acheson@state.co.us.  We ask that you make us aware of your needs at least two weeks before the event.

Where can I stay?

The Courtyard Marriott and the SpringHill suites are offering discounted rates during the summit and through the weekend! You'll receive the room block reservation links in your registration confirmation email. There are also many other wonderful lodging options in Pueblo.

Is there parking?

Parking is free. A parking garage is located directly across the street from The Pueblo Convention Center. There are 439 regular spaces and 10 Tesla charging spaces. **Do not park in the Courtyard by Marriott if you are not a guest. They will tow you.

Is there public transportation in Pueblo?

Yes, you can visit https://www.pueblo.us/104/Pueblo-Transit to find bus schedules, route, and fare information. The Courtyard Marriott and SpringHill Suites are conveniently located within walking distance of the Pueblo Convention Center.

Are there gender neutral bathrooms?

Yes, there are gender neutral bathrooms located directly across the hall from the Fortino Grand Hall next to the Convention Center offices.

Is there handicapped parking available?

Yes, there are ADA/handicapped spaces directly in front of the venue.
