About this event

Detroit, 2024: Prepare to partner.

This year's Collaborative Journalism Summit will take place on May 9-10, 2024 at Wayne State University in Detroit.

The Center for Cooperative Media at Montclair State University is hosting the 2024 Summit in partnership with the Department of Communication at Wayne State University and Detroit Public Television.

When you register, you’ll find two reception options: We will host a "Welcome to Detroit" reception on the evening of Wednesday, May 8, for folks who are in town early. Then on Thursday evening, we will host a "Welcome to CJS" reception. You need to reserve a ticket for both receptions in advance as SPACE IS LIMITED. Your ticket is good only for you — no guests are allowed. Unfortunately, anyone who is not signed up in advance will NOT be allowed in the venue on either night.

We also have low-cost scholarship tickets available to ensure ticket price is not a barrier to participation. If you need one, just let us know by emailing summit@collaborativejournalism.org.
