About this event

Thank you for planning to attend the Carrollton Civic Woman's Club Charity Salad Luncheon & Silent Auction!! We are thrilled to have an opportunity to host our traditional event, and have a fun, filling and rewarding experience, benefiting to wonderful community of Carrollton, GA.

These tickets will admit entry to the event and grant you access to the silent auction, bake sale, estate sale and so much more. Your purchase also gets you access to some of the best salads, made with love by our membership, and served with pleasure. Menu items this year feature our Member's Finest Salad Dishes, ranging anywhere from meaty and hearty salads, to pasta salads, to Southern fruit dessert salads or even salads that are not typical to the US. Last year, CCWC participated in 162 community projects, volunteers 35,325 hours, and donated a total of $176,148 to various charities in Carroll County. Let's exceed those numbers and come prepared to write checks, donate online or give cash to a number of different booths and come prepared to eat!

Can't make it, but still want lunch? No problem! We are offering take out, so simply continue here and purchase a ticket, then the day of the luncheon, follow the signs that say Take Out.

Frequently asked questions

Of the funds raised, what do they go toward?

All proceeds from this fundraiser go toward the various non-profit organizations throughout Carroll County that CCWC partners with, and the money sets the precedence as to how munch of an impact CCWC will be able to make within the community for the upcoming year.

What can I expect when I arrive?

Upon arrival, you will be greeting by our ticket collectors at the door. Greeters will guide you to the various tables and serving line. People arrive throughout the entire two hour period, however the earlier you arrive the more time you have to browse, eat, and purchase items before they are GONE!

Can tickets be purchased at the door?

Absolutely! Sometimes, it's hard to know your schedule, so you may want to hold off on buying your ticket. However, we highly encourage you to purchase your tickets early, and add it to your calendar - so goes the saying, if you don't make time, you won't make the time...

What kind of items can I expect to bid on?

All auction items are either donated by local businesses or members of CCWC. Gift baskets, handmade items, vacation packages, jewelry, bicycles, Damascus knives... each year they change. Follow GFWC Carrollton Civic Woman's Club on Facebook to watch for sneak peeks to this years items!

What kind of items will the Estate Sale have to purchase?

Similar to the auction items, the estate sale will have different items each year. Antique crystal dining ware, candle stick or serving bowls; Silver items such as mini spoons, trays or serving utensils; paintings, quilts or other homemade gems.

What kinds of goodies are at the Bake Sale?

Our bake sale items vary in deliciousness! From freshly baked brownies, or cookies, to beautifully decorated cakes cupcakes or pies. We've hade items the have peanut butter, jellies, chocolate, white chocolate, pretzels, icing, walnuts, or other yummy items.

I have allergies, will the edible items be identified?

Some items may have come into contact with or contain peanuts, tree nuts, soy, milk, eggs, or wheat. Please ask a member about the ingredients used if there are allergy concerns.

How many people attend?

CEMC's facility will allow for roughly 300 people. Last year attendance exceeded 200, and we hope to see that number grow!
