Boating for Boobies was born out of a desire to find a fun way to help Carter Champions raise money for the Memorial Foundation. This is not your typical Boat Parade! It’s designed to be a good time, where cancer survivors, their friends, families, and supporters can take a moment to enjoy the laid-back boating lifestyle that the coast has to offer while raising funds and awareness for Breast Cancer.

This major event has many different aspects to it. Leading up to the event there is weekly registration nights at Captain Als, where those that have already registered are entered into drawings for prizes, such as but not limited to event corn hole boards, coolers, and beach towels. There are event T-Shirt and Appearal pre-sales that start prior to the event and continue after it’s over.

The day of the event there is Raffles, Live music all day and night, games, giveaways, photo booths, and so much more.

Survivors who do not have access to a boat are invited to ride on a sponsored survivor’s pontoon. All entries are encouraged to not only decorate their vessel but also dress up as the judges award the best decorated boat and best dressed crew.

Proceeds from the event go to our local Memorial Hospital Foundation
