The Richard J. Caron Award of Excellence


Jill Jordon is the Founder of The Neil Lasher Music Fund and through that Fund has helped over 35 individuals from the music community receive treatment, since the Fund’s inception in 2021 memory of her life partner, Neil Lasher. Jill was a Managing Partner at a major institutional investment advisory firm and has served on numerous boards including the Caron New York Advisory Board, the Pont-Aven School of Contemporary Art, the World Monuments Fund International Council and the Stewardship Committee at her alma mater, The Pennsylvania State University.


Juliana Terian, president and chief executive officer of the Long Island-based Rallye Motor Co., is a member of the Caron New York Advisory Board and of the Founders Board of the Neil Lasher Music Fund. A liscenced architect, her skills were utilized when she oversaw the design and constuction of Rallye’s environmentally-conscious, 6 acre 92,000 square foot BMW campus. Her business triumphs and her focus on promoting women in the automotive workplace have made her a female power player in the business world.


The Thomas J. Moran Caron Music Award

Kristen and Stephen Stills, through their many philanthropic efforts and his iconic music, unite to help make a positive impact with so many. Their work with the Autism Speaks Light It Up Blue concerts promotes understanding and acceptance for people with autism. Kristen is a producer and autism awareness activist, raising funds for research and support for the autistic community. In 2008, she won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Nonfiction Special for her program Autism: The Musical. Stephen, musician, singer, and songwriter, is best known for his work with Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills, Nash &Young. With a career now spanning six decades, he has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame twice, into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and is a BMI Music Icon.

Caron Treatment Centers is an internationally recognized not-for-profit dedicated to addiction and behavioral healthcare treatment, research prevention, and addiction medicine education. Proceeds from the Gala will support Caron’s mission of Recovery for Life. For more than 60 years, we have helped thousands of individuals struggling with substance use disorder and their families begin to manage this chronic, treatable disease. In addition to the Pennsylvania campus, Caron provides services in Palm Beach County, Florida, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Atlanta and New York City.

Funds raised at the Gala will support program delivery and expansion and support more patients throughout Caron’s continuum of care through unique services offered for young adults, women, men, and older adults and their families. The Caron New York Recovery Center offers screening and education, early recovery support groups and family engagement, provides a healthy environment for alumni activities and holds Parent Support Groups throughout the New York Region.
