Preserving the Western way of life is a core value of Montana Longhorn Company. As your local cattle ranch, we desire to share cowboy traditions with the Whitefish community. This free family event includes cattle branding, a Jr. Rodeo (with opportunity for the entire family to compete), local food trucks, a kid's zone with inflatable slide and games, and even a barn dance to end the day. Branding Day is a passion that we take seriously around here, and we look forward to sharing that with you.

Frequently asked questions

What should I wear?

Wear your favorite western attire - hats, boots, dresses... but keep in mind that this event is held on a working cattle ranch, so please come prepared in boots that can get muddy. A change of clothes is also a good idea for the kids, and anyone who will be participating in the rodeo.

Where should I park?

Free parking will be available at Whitefish Assembly of God church, located at 150 Lamb Ln. Whitefish. Please note that parking is half a mile walk, so bring appropriate shoes. We will have limited tractor/hayrides to and from parking lot throughout the day, but exact schedule is not guaranteed.

What if I have special requests or accomodations?

We are honored to do our best to make your day more comfortable. Please contact us directly with specific parking or accessibility accommodations.

Will food & drinks be provided?

We are excited to partner with a variety of local food trucks. Please bring your appetite and some cash to support these local businesses. We will also have a cash bar available for nonalcoholic + a variety of alcoholic beverages.

Can I participate in the rodeo?

Absolutely! This is an opportunity for all ages to take part in a real-life Jr. rodeo. We'll have a chicken chase for the youngest participants and work our way up to a steer riding or wrestling for the adults. Please watch your email for sign ups!
