A “Balloon Glow” is a nighttime event where balloons stay on the ground, while inflated, and light up the sky with their magical glow! This row of tethered hot air balloons will fire up their burners to create a colorful display that is sure to become your family’s new favorite tradition!

Experience the beauty and magic of the Ashland BalloonFest 2024 Balloon Glow Encounter up close!

Balloon Glow Encounter offers you and 3 others a chance to enter the Glow Encounter Area 1 hour prior to balloon glow (around dusk) and watch the show inside the Glow Encounter Area (restricted to the public). Balloon Glow is weather permitting. No refunds. Ticket purchase will be considered a tax-deductible donation should weather ground balloons.

Glow Encounter packages will include:

  • Reserved Premier Seating for four (4)
  • Four (4) soft drinks
  • On-site parking for one (1) vehicle
  • An Official Souvenir package
  • Great photo opportunities
  • Memories that will last a life time

You can purchase add-on tickets for entry into launch field only.

You will need 1 ticket for each person.

A ticket is needed for anyone 1 years of age and older for either ticket type (add-on or the 4 pack).

Instructions: Show printed/mobile ticket to parking attendant (keep the ticket). Take printed/mobile ticket to Balloon Glow Encounter table at the information tent to receive: 4 soft drinks, Official BalloonFest souvenir package, and hand stamps for entry for 4 into launch field to watch the balloon glow. You are welcome to bring chairs, blankets, etc.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Handicap parking and General Admission Parking is located at Ashland University Lots on Phillips and Samaritan Avenues. General Admission parking is located off center street (St Rt 60) behind Dale Roy School.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

No.

What can't I bring to the event?

No firearms, No drones, No smoking.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes, you may transfer unused tickets online only prior to event start if not sold out.

Can I update my registration information?

Yes

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

It it recommended to bring a printed ticket as you will need it for parking and to check in at the Info Tent. If you can not or choose not to bring a printed ticket, you may not be able to redeem for free parking. No refunds of parking fees.

What is the refund policy?

No refunds. Ticket purchase will be considered a tax-deductable donation should weather ground balloons.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

As long as you transferred online prior to redeeming ticket, this is acceptable.
