The Annual Ethics Program will be held on June 5, 2024, at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, located at 333 Wolf Point Plaza, Chicago, Illinois. This event, essential for legal professionals interested in ethical standards within the field, will take place from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM, with both in-person and remote attendance options available via Zoom.

This year's program will cover a range of critical topics, including ethical issues in litigation funding, best practices regarding the use of artificial intelligence in legal practices, and professional discipline within the labor market. The session will feature presentations from respected legal professionals such as Terry Dee and Courtney Block from Winston & Strawn LLP, Neil B. Posner from Much Shelist PC, and Professor Kyle Rozema from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.

A significant component of the program is the panel discussion titled “How to Avoid Ethical Pitfalls in Federal Court.” Moderated by Britt Cramer from Kirkland & Ellis LLP, the panel includes federal judges Hon. Gabriel Fuentes, Hon. Matthew Kennelly, and Hon. Manish Shah, who will provide insights into maintaining ethical integrity in the judiciary.

The program is open to both members and non-members of the FBA. Admission is complimentary for members, while non-members are charged a fee of $25. Pre-registration is required due to venue capacity constraints and security requirements, including a mandatory photo ID check at the entrance.
