The Flower Farm

Creekside Growers, led by owner and grower Sue Dykstra, has been cultivating a passion for growing a stronger community through local flowers since its inception in 2000. Inspired and supported by her family, Sue began her journey as a wholesale grower of perennials and annuals, laying the foundation for what would become a beloved retail garden center on the property. Around 2016, fueled by her dedication to providing fresh, locally sourced products, Sue expanded her endeavors to include a small half-acre cutting and vegetable garden. This addition not only enriched her offerings but also allowed her to connect even more deeply with her local customers, providing them with a diverse array of flowers and vegetables. Today, with over 21 years of dedicated growth, Creekside Growers boasts three-plus acres of flowers, shrubs, and grasses, with Sue's unwavering commitment to impacting the "local flower" movement in West Michigan driving the farm forward.

An Extra Tour with Flower Farmer Sue!

If you’d like to dig deeper into the dedication and science behind growing these amazing flowers, you don’t want to miss the added VIP Farm Tour, available for purchase upon checkout. The VIP Farm Tour is an exclusive opportunity for 25 guests to join flower farmer Sue Dykstra for an hour-long tour of Creekside Growers. The extra VIP tour will take place prior to the start of the event and also includes a very special VIP reception.

Additionally, please keep in mind this is a production farm, not a garden. That means there may be holes, roots, rocks and other potential hazards. Comfortable walking shoes are a must if you are participating in the VIP Farm Tour. Other footwear is at your discretion but keep in mind you are on an active farm so stilettos might not be the best choice. While most of the farm can be accessed by wheel chair, there are areas of uneven ground that might make exploring difficult. This visit is not recommend for those that are not able to walk for at least 400 to 500 feet.
