The charity basketball game will feature 40 vendors, a halftime performance, a live DJ, raffles, and various interactive activities for attendees of all ages. Doors open at 12:00pm, and the basketball game begins at 1:00pm. The game will feature the Detroit Police Department Basketball Team v. Team #ProfessorReynolds including Mayor Kelly Garrett of Lathrup Village, Dallas Logan (In My Bag Sports/ Loyola Alum & All-Time Leading Scorer), Desi Johnson (Des2Fit), and more! The game will be hosted by the Legendary Comedian Mike Bonner from Def Comedy Jam and BET's Comic View. We will have a special Meet & Greet session with Detroit's own Tubi King Kaamel “Diezel” Hasaun, Film Director and Actor. All proceeds from the charity basketball game will directly benefit The Prom Project of Michigan, a Detroit-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
