Yes! But children 3 and under would probably be in a stroller and pushed by their parent .
For the safety of our runners and animal friends, we do not allow animals at any of our races.
The Martin County Arts Council will have water stations throughout the run route. Fruit will be in the Arts Center for runners and walkers at the end of the race.
The Color Fun Run 5K is a timed event but not a precision timed run. If you prefer to walk instead of running, you will start walking after the runners take off.
The color does mostly wash out after the event. As with anything dirty, the sooner you wash it the better. We suggest wearing items that you wouldn’t mind getting colorful.
The powder is certified non-toxic. The colors are a combination of cornstarch, baking soda, and FD&C dyes. As with any substance, you want to keep it out of your eyes and color throwers will aim low. You may wear glasses, goggles or use a bandana or mask if you prefer.
There will be 3 categories: For adults, medals will be given to the top 3 male and top 3 female finishers with the best time. For ages 8-12, medals will be given to the top 3 finishers with the best time. For ages 13-18, medals will be given to the top 3 finishers with the best time.
